There was a risk that, after series one and two, the whole concept could become stale: there are only so many dinosaurs, early mammals or beasts from the future that one can do things with. However the alternate time line concept; the change of characters, and the reasonably plausable internal threats keep offering a freshness. I also find that I can believe that the animals are real enough for the drama to be gripping. The technical excellence in sublimating the graphics is to be commended. But where's Rex?
